Rain
Gray mist engulfs me,
in the silence of the sky.
Feelings are dreary,
As the world begins to cry.
Drops come and go,
washing away the world's pain,
and if all these things happen I'll know,
that the world will have begun to rain.
Rain down on the thirsty earth,
and bring the rocks back to life.
Return in drops, nature's worth,
And bring unto me heaven's rife.
Wet the dry and withered land,
drops which keep me sane.
I encounter nature's helping hand,
as the sky begins to rain.
